By using AliviaQ's telemedicine services, you acknowledge that you are being attended by an independent, certified doctor and you accept the following informed consent terms.
1. Nature of Telemedicine
Telemedicine consultations are conducted by video call and have inherent limitations compared to in-person consultations. A complete physical examination is not possible. The doctor, at their independent clinical judgment, may recommend an in-person visit if they deem it necessary for your safety.
2. The Doctor Is an Independent Professional
The consultation is provided by an independent doctor with verified credentials, practicing under their own license and professional responsibility. AliviaQ provides the technology channel for the consultation but does not intervene in clinical decisions. The doctor-patient relationship is established directly between you and the professional.
3. What You Consent To
You consent to the collection and use of health information shared during the consultation, solely for the purpose of providing medical care. You consent that the doctor, at their professional discretion, may issue digital prescriptions when clinically appropriate and in accordance with applicable regulations.
4. Limitations and Risks
Telemedicine may not be suitable for all conditions. Technical issues (connection loss, video quality) may occasionally affect the consultation. Medical emergencies require immediate in-person care: call 112.
5. Your Rights
You may end the consultation at any time. You have the right to seek a second opinion. You may withdraw this consent at any time without affecting your access to the platform.
6. Minors
For patients under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must be present during the consultation and provide consent on their behalf.
